Cuoio di Toscana is the consortium for the production of sole leather, born with
the aim of representing the tanning district in the world.
The seven companies belonging to the Cuoio di Toscana brand are located
between Santa Croce sull’Arno and San Miniato: Bonistalli and Stefanelli Spa,
CMC International Spa, Conceria Gi-Elle-Emme Spa, Otello Cuoificio, Lamonti
Cuoio Spa, Conceria 3S srl and Volpi Concerie srl.
Slow vegetable tanning: an ancient tanning process based on the use of natural
tannins obtained from chestnut, mimosa and quebracho wood. A philosophy that
makes tradition and innovation dialogue in the product itself, as well as paying
attention to the quality that can be found in every Cuoio di Toscana product thanks
to the traceability kit that certifies the origin, quality and workmanship of the sole
thanks to a serial number identifier and an integrated chip.
