An Australian brand of jelly shoes and vegan shoes, Holster was founded in Noosa, Australia, in 2001. Initially a producer of jelly sandals and espadrillas, over the seasons it extended its range of products and now it offers a complete collection of vegan shoes, transseasonal shoes, for children and women.
Ben Nothling and Natalie Miller are the founders of the brand. The former, working closely with the production team, deals with the technical aspects of the new Holster styles. The latter deals with design, creating the innovative styles, colours and decorative motifs of all the collections. Thanks to the passion they put into their work, together they have succeeded in turning Holster into a global brand that focuses on innovation, construction and design, and that is in line with the principles of sustainability. As parents, they are acutely aware of the environmental impact on future generations. For this reason, one of their company’s key values is indeed sustainability, obtained by reducing the ecological footprint with the use of recycled materials and packaging. Today Holster has more than 2,000 retailers in 25 countries; they help the company bring its unique combination of shoes all over the world. The goal is that of inspiring people to take the right direction bychoosing stylish yet sustainable, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free shoes. Shoes that follow this protocol right from the design and development phases. Embracing this philosophy, Holster creates 100% vegan shoes, certified by the Vegan Society UK and by PETA.
