GSC is an Italian company founded in 1976 by Donato serafini and Giovanni gianesini and located in the tanning district of arzignano (VI), world capital of the tanning industry. In the early years the GSC Group’s activity was mainly focused on the resale of dyes for skins.
With the passage of time and through distribution agreements with important international brands, the company has strengthened and asserted its position also in other segments of the tanning sector such as retanning, fattening and finishing to become an internationally renowned manufacturer of specialty chemicals for tanneries.
In the 90s, the GSC Group developed an innovative line of water-based finishing products (AQ SYSTEM line) which for those years represented a major change compared to the use of predominantly solvent-based technologies.
The company is positioned in the market by extending its range of water-based products in the sectors of furniture and automotive (leather car interiors) and at the same time penetrating the market of footwear, clothing and leather goods.
The growth and qualification of its technical staff, always close to the needs of its customers, allows the GSC Group to extend its offer of innovative solutions in the different segments of applications for tanning skins.
